original sin
I can't believe tht original sin had to do with acquisition of knowledge or sex between male and female. If sex between male and female was designed by God, how can it be sin? If we have brains, why should learning be a sin? In fact, I don't believe in sin, but I am offering a new personal version of what might have happened in paradise.
There was a third being in paradise, besides Adam and Eve. Maybe it was an angel, or a hermaphrodite, or a stud witha large phallus, whatever. He had intercourse with both Eve and Adam.
He gave Eve her first real orgasm, which she had never had with Adam.
And he taught Adam the joys of male to male sex.
Both Adam and Eve naturally fell in love with this being. Orgasm was the sin both commited.
I think this, if anything, was the original sin, because somehow it was not in line with the procreation design of God.
If this is true or makes any sense, now we can look past it and enjoy orgasm.

Really, now. If orgasms were sinful, why do we have the natural capacity to have orgasms? You are on to something here, Urbano. But I think the concept of original sin was a metaphor for something else. Remember, human beings wrote the Bible bit by bit. And I don't believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible. Someone was trying to explain life through a very primitive lens and did the best job he/she could. For example, orthodox Jews don't eat pork. But the reason for that is pork can give a person parasites if improperly cooked. Not being very advanced in medicine, they naturally thought that illnesses derived from eating pork were signs of God's displeasure with that person. So the Bible made a point of not eating pork for religious reasons, not for medical reasons. This is probably not terribly clear writing, but that's how I see it. Meanwhile, I'll continue to enjoy orgasms........especially when I see a good looking man.

I know what you mean, ManOMan... The sin was perhaps that they wanted to have it all the time, and that was long before Reich, lol.
